Recently more and more people are pairing wine with different cupcakes. A couple of weeks ago I went to the City Wine Merchant store in downtown Buffalo where the owner had Lola Pear Bake Shoppe prepare a number of different flavours of mini cupcakes to pair with a number of different wines! It was a new experience for me, but I really like the idea! Last weekend I came across the LCBO Food & Drink Spring Magazine and there are a number of different cupcake recipes. It seems that cupcakes and wine pairing is the new trend! :) So check out the LCBO spring issue of Food & Drink and maybe give it a try ! I know I will :)
