Mom's Homemade Icing
1/4 cup of Butter
3 cups of icing sugar
3 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
Use beaters to mix together
Add food colouring of your choice!!
My mom usually adds a touch of red food colouring to make a nice baby pink! It a traditional colour in our family for birthday cakes (for men and women! haha)
The mini cupcake picture above shows the homemade icing in blue!! Specially made for the superbowl...too bad they lost! :(
